I love to use silk wedding flowers matching my theme and glue them to the flip-flops for a little extra glam. Another neat way to jazz them up is glue-backed, flat-jewels or pearls. I get these at my floral supply, but Michaels has them if you don't have a wholesale supply in your area.

Use seashells and hot glue to dress up simple napkin rings or vases. I usually find a nice size batch of seashells at my local dollar tree, they're usually small and varied colors and shapes. An added benefit is that Dollar tree will allow you to order whatever you need in bulk if there isn't enough in the store. It's usually a turn-around of only a couple days.
Use an ink stamp to decorate candy favor bags with beach themed designs like starfish, whales or waves. Choose colors that reflect your theme like ocean blue on pure white or maybe coral? I love to do this on brown kraft paper take-out boxes. To fill your favor bags or boxes, choose candies with ocean inspired colors and shapes.
Make a beach inspired cookie mix- Mixing together cookie ingredients in a decorative jar makes an easy-to-do wedding favor. Give it a beach inspired twist by making it "message-in-a-bottle" style. Choose a slim necked bottle, and layer your dry ingredients in an attractive way. Next choose a weathered looking label and affix to the outside of your bottle using a glue stick. Before attaching, write or print a thank you message to your guests.
